The Easy Learning Department
Easy Learning Department was founded at Dubai National School in 2003 for assessing and rehabilitating students with
special educational needs. The idea was created from a deep understanding of the problem in the community of the
United Arab Emirates. The department is considered the first in the country and specifically in Dubai.
The School has developed the SEN policy in accordance with the Federal Law 29/2006 and the Child Right Act of the
United Nations to cater for the special need students in order to provide them with care and support to enable them
to fulfill their potential in an inclusive environment.

SEN Admission conditions:
The targeted students are accepted from the first grade to the twelfth grade.
The SEN must be consulted by doctors and have a medical report that describes his or her medical case.
The referral side must be SEN parents, centers or schools.
Analysis of the student performance (attention, behavior, work completion, tests, class work)
in       coordination with a special committee.
SEN disability shouldn`t be severe or multiple.
SEN must have the ability to be integrated within a group in order to get the proper educational support.
Parents are requested to fill in a form (SEN Profile) upon registration where they should declare any       specific needs their child may have.
Parents are requested to provide documents from specialized       institutions that describe the case.
Assessing the mental capacity to identify and assess IQ and speech and language and assessing learning
